https://www.ejournal.poltekbaubau.ac.id/index.php/ijml/article/view/907

Reduction of inactive medical record files has not been carried out by Buton Tengah Regional Hospital. Reduction of inactive medical record files is carried out five years after the last patient was treated in the hospital or five years after the patient died. This study aims to determine the optimization strategy for reducing medical record files. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design. The subjects of the study were one submission officer and the head of the medical record department. The object of the study was the active medical record files belonging to Buton Tengah Regional Hospital. The results of this study were a decrease in human resources (HR) in the medical record unit by 16 people. The means to reduce the number of medical record files that were reduced were scanners and computers, but the infrastructure for storing inactive files. Meanwhile, the SOP for reducing medical record files and strategies for maximizing the reduction of inactive BRM are not yet available. In addition, Buton Tengah District Hospital has prepared a work plan for reducing medical record files which will be implemented in 2024, but the reduction of inactive files at Buton Tengah Hospital has not been implemented. So it is necessary to create a reduction SOP at Buton Tengah Hospital because currently there is only an SOP for retention and destruction. At Buton Tengah Hospital, there is no special place for inactive files. Therefore, it is necessary to create a special room for inactive files at Buton Tengah Regional Hospital.
Nadhirah saffanahSri WahyuniMariyanto Nurshamsul

In the material aspect, the number of wi-fi available is only one unit so that the internet network connection is unstable due to a lot of usage. In the machine aspect, there are no computers available for each room at the Waborobo puskesmas so that the application of electronic medical records cannot be applied as a whole. In the aspect of method, at this time electronic medical records have not been used, namely still using the manual system. In the aspect of money, there is already a budget for electronic medical records as well as a budget for computer maintenance and other needs. In the information aspect, there is already cooperation with third parties in the implementation of medical records, socialization has been carried out but training has not been carried out.
Nurul labandeSri wahyuniMarianto Nurshamsul

The purpose of this study is to identify the flow of implementation of the release of medical record information that functions as a guarantee in maintaining the legal aspects of patient data confidentiality. This study also aims to identify units related to the implementation of the provision of medical record information as a step to protect the confidentiality of patient data. In addition, this study will identify the types of information released during the disclosure of information that functions as a legal guarantee in maintaining the confidentiality of patient data at the Buton Regency Hospital. This study applies a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection carried out through direct observation and interviews. Where the results of the study show that the flow of the release of medical record information involves verification of patient identity and consent, and follows the principle of "need to know". The procedure for releasing information is regulated by SOP, although there are still discrepancies in its implementation. 2025-02-282025-02-28137783Review Of The Implementation Of Outpatient Registration Services At Katobengke Health Center
https://www.ejournal.poltekbaubau.ac.id/index.php/ijml/article/view/922

Registration is a service process carried out by the Health Center to obtain the identity of patients who come. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of outpatient registration at the Katobengke Health Center in 2024. Based on initial observations, there are several obstacles in the registration system. One problem that often arises is the loss of network connection, which forces officers to record data manually when patients seek treatment. In addition, patients often do not bring important documents such as Identity Cards (KTP), Family Cards (KK), and Treatment Cards, which also hinder the registration process. In this study, the population studied consisted of 3 registration officers. The method used is a descriptive approach with a qualitative approach, and data were collected through interviews and observations. The population that became the focus was 3 officers who worked in the outpatient registration section. The results of the study showed that in terms of human resources, the number of medical record officers in the registration unit was still relatively lacking, because there was only one officer who had a D3 medical record education background, while one other officer had a different background or S1 public health. In terms of methods , there was no SOP for using the E-Puskesmas Application so that the old registration flow was still used. In terms of materials , the internet network connection and server were sometimes problematic so that it could hinder service time when registering patients. In terms of machines, the number of computers and printers was currently sufficient in the medical record and registration units, in addition, the condition of the computers and printers was good and could be used and there were no problems during use. In terms of money , the budget for the needs of medical recorders and registration officers was already available. It is recommended that a Wi-Fi network be added and the E-Puskesmas application server be re-evaluated
Ninis AfriandaSri WahyuniSelvi Mayang Sari

https://www.ejournal.poltekbaubau.ac.id/index.php/ijml/article/view/917

Cat's whiskers are one type of medicinal plant that is often used in traditional medicine. Both empirically and clinically, cat's whiskers leaves (Orthosiphon aristatus) are medicinal plants that contain tannin compounds. Tannins are compounds that have a large molecular weight with complex hydroxyl groups related to carboxyl and protein and also several macromolecules. The purpose of this study was to determine the Tannin compounds in cat's whiskers leaves (Orthosiphon aristatus) using the Thin Layer Chromatography method as a method of separating dissolved substances with solvents consisting of 2 12 13 phases or more. The principle of the TLC method is the difference in physical and chemical properties of compounds such as the tendency of molecules to dissolve in liquids, the tendency of molecules to evaporate and the tendency of molecules to adhere to surfaces (adsorption). Thin layer chromatography (TLC) method was used to identify the ethanol extract. This method uses silica gel TLC plate as the stationary phase. According to Hasnaeni and Wisdawati (2019), a yield of 20.8% of the thick extract of cat's whiskers leaves (Orthosiphon aristatus) was obtained to determine the amount of extract obtained during the extraction process. In addition, the yield value correlates with the amount of active compounds present in the sample; a higher yield value indicates that there is a greater possibility that the active compound component is included in the sample. This is in line with the statement made by Harborne (1987), which is quoted in (Wardaningrum, 2019), which states that the high content of active compounds is usually indicated by the high yield produced; the yield is considered good if the value exceeds 10%. with the results found that there are tannin compounds in cat's whiskers leaves.
LisaWa Ode SyafriahSuparman Supardi

https://www.ejournal.poltekbaubau.ac.id/index.php/ijml/article/view/754

Natural medicine preparations as part of Indonesia's national cultural heritage are now increasingly important in everyday life. People have used various plants as traditional medicines. This study identified secondary metabolic compounds and tested the effectiveness of 96% ethanol extract of African leaves (Vernonia amygdalina Del.) in healing cuts in mice (Mus musculus). African leaves (Vernonia amygdalina Del.) are medicinal plants found in East Kalimantan. This experimental study used phytochemical screening and effectiveness test methods, as well as one-way ANOVA analysis. The test animals were mice (Mus musculus), which were divided into five groups. They consisted of a positive control group using 10% povidone iodine, a negative control group using distilled water, and a treatment group with extract concentrations of 0.1 grams, 0.2 grams, and 0.3 grams. The results showed that 96% ethanol extract of African leaves (Vernonia amygdalina Del.) contained alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. In addition, in the effectiveness test of 96% ethanol extract of African leaves (Vernonia amygdalina Del.) can reduce cuts in test animals mice (Mus musculus), with the results of the wound length test showing significant results from the one way ANOVA analysis (F>F crit = 151.549>1.961) which shows that the effect of 96% ethanol extract of African leaves is effective for healing cuts with the best extract concentration being 0.3 g extract.
MasilinaSri YolandariRizky Rahmawati Alami
